17 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 38 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Jun 26: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of 17 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of the total positive reports, nine were reported in Leh and eight in Kargil. While, a total of 4077 sample reports in UT Ladakh; Leh: 2106 and Kargil: 1971 were found negative yesterday.
No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 38 patients yesterday. Out of which 21 patients were discharged in Leh and 17 in Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 293; 224 in Leh and 69 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 1568 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 552 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse check post yesterday and 472 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi check post.
