    2nd randomization of EVMs for 21-Thangdumbur bye-election held in presence of Election Officer.
    Kargil, September 26, 2024: The second Randomization of ECIL Make M-2 type assigned Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) for conduct of bye-elections at 21 Thangdumbur, LAHDC, Kargil Constituency was held today at NIC Kargil.
    During the process the EVMs selected in the first randomization were further randomized for assignment of the same to the polling stations in 21-Thangdumbur Constituency.
    The total number of polling stations in the Constituency is 05. However, 08 EVMs have been assigned which is 60 percent extra. Additional two EVMs have been assigned for training to the polling party.
    In this regard the third randomization will take place on October 04, 2024. On the occasion, Election Officer (Additional Deputy Commissioner), Kargil, Suhail Ahmed, Deputy Election Officer, Mohd Sharif Kakpori, District Informatics Officer, NIC, Kargil Iftikhar Hussain, Election Naib Tehsildar Kargil, Zakir Hussain, Assistant Information Officer, Anwar Ali, representatives of Indian National Congress, National Conference, Bharatiya Janata Party, and Aam Aadmi Party were present.
