38 positive cases reported in UT Ladakh; 12 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Dec 1 : As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, 38 new positive samples report of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of which 36 positive reports were received by CMO Leh and 2 by CMO Kargil. While a total of 1451 sample reports in UT Ladakh. Leh: 748 and Kargil: 703 were found negative.
No deaths from Covid-19 was reported in Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 12 patients. Out of which 10 patients were discharged by CMO Leh and 2 by CMO Kargil.
With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 276; 255 in Leh and 21 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 857 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 130 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post.
