6 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 23 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Jul 08: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of six new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday, three each in Leh and Kargil. While, a total of 2673 sample reports in UT Ladakh; Leh: 1225 and Kargil: 1448 were found negative yesterday.
No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 23 patients yesterday. Out of which 20 patients were discharged in Leh and three in Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 183; 151 in Leh and 32 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 1772 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 57 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse check post yesterday and 1072 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi check post.
