6 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 9 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Sep 3: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, six new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday, five in Leh and one in Kargil. While a total of 1727 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 716 and Kargil: 1011 were found negative.
No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged nine patients yesterday, five were discharged from Leh and four from Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 68; 50 in Leh and 18 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 2190 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 11 and 441 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts.
