7 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 5 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Sep 2: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, seven new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of which six positive sample reports were received by CMO Leh and one positive sample report was received by CMO Kargil. While a total of 2002 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 811 and Kargil: 1191 were found negative.
No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged five patients yesterday, all five were discharged from Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 71; 50 in Leh and 21 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 2078 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 45 and 424 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts.
