    76th Republic Day celebrated in all Centers of Akashvani Kargil.
    Kargil, January 26, 2025: Akashvani Kargil marked the 76th Republic Day with celebrations at all its centers across the district.
    At the main station in Baroo, Additional Director (Engineering) Er. Vijay Singh unfurled the National Flag in the presence of staff, their families, and more than 200 children, including the residents of Bal Ashram.
    Addressing the gathering, Er Vijay Singh highlighted the importance of this year’s Republic Day under the visionary theme of “Viksit Bharat” (Developed India). He urged everyone to reaffirm their commitment to innovation, sustainability, and equality, emphasizing the role of every citizen in empowering the nation and contributing to inclusive growth.
    He also reiterated the significance of Akashvani’s role in serving the community and called for collaborative efforts to enhance program production, news coverage, and service quality.
    Flag hoisting ceremonies were also held at various Akashvani centers, including HPT Kurbathang, Akashvani Humbotingla, Drass, Tai Suru, and Padum. The respective officials, Gulzar Hussain TREX, EA Arvind Kumar, Ali Asgar, Mehboob Ali and Nissar Ali unfurled the National Flag and led the celebrations with enthusiasm, joined by employees at each location.
    Akashvani Kargil also covered the Republic Day celebrations held at Khree Sultan Choo Stadium, where Chairman/CEC, LAHDC, Kargil, Dr Mohd Jaffer Alhoon unfurled the National Flag as the Chief Guest.
    A special radio report on the event aired at 9:30 PM, with additional updates in the Purgi News bulletins at 5:25 PM and 7:30 PM. The comprehensive coverage was highly appreciated by the local audience.
    Additionally, the station successfully relayed the Hon’ble President’s speech and its regional version in Purgi, along with the address of the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, reflecting its commitment to connecting the region with national sentiments.
