79th independence was celebrated with great enthusiasm and zeal in Sub Division Kharu

79th independence was celebrated with great enthusiasm and zeal in Sub Division Kharu at BDO ground of Kharu Subdivision. Programme started with unfurling of India flag by the Sub Divisional Magistrate Kharu Sh Sonam Dorjay. Programme was proceeded with national anthem and March past from police and around 7 school of the subdivision.
Mohd Ishaq was the parade Commender for the event.
Programme was addressed by the Sub Divisional Magistrate. In his address he stated the importance of day and congratulated the people of the sub Division. He also highlighted the various developmental works going on in the Sub Division on the occasion
Cultural programmes from around 9 schools of the sub Division were presented.
Programme was graced by other dignitaries like hon’ble
Councillor of Sakti constituency Sh Rigzen,
Station head quarter Lt coloniel Vikas Giri 3 division, representative 111 RCC, Dy CEO, BDO, CDPO, BO, official from different departments,
Numbardars and people from different villages of the sub division
