8 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 6 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Aug 24: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, eight new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday, four in Leh and four in Kargil. While a total of 2017 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 924 and Kargil: 1093 were found negative.
No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged six patients yesterday, all of them were discharged by CMO Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 63; 53 in Leh and 10 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 1802 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While, 154 and 314 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts respectively.
