6 new positive cases reports in UT Ladakh; 5 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Sept.17: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, five positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday from Leh by CMO Leh, one positive sample report of Covid-19 received by CMO Kargil . While a total of 1138 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh: 443 and Kargil: 688 were found negative.
No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 5 patients yesterday from Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 41; 38 in Leh and 3 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 1907 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 658 and 488 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts
