    UT Ladakh reports 24 new positive cases;17 patients cured and discharged

    Leh, Dec 10: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, 24 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday.
    23 positive sample reports were received by CMO Leh and 1 positive sample report was received by CMO Kargil.
    While a total of 1131 sample reports were tested in UT Ladakh. 799 sample reports in Leh and 306 sample reports in Kargil were found negative. No death from Covid-19 was reported in Ladakh yesterday.
    The bulletin further informs that UT Ladakh has discharged 17 patients. 13 patients were discharged by CMO Leh and 4 patients were discharged by CMO Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 237; 221 cases in Leh and 16 cases in Kargil district.
    The bulletin further informs that 613 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 136 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post.
