Good Governance Week begins in Kargil district, 391 LRCs issued

KARGIL, DECEMBER 22, 2021: As part of celebrations of Good Governance Week under Azadi Ka Amrut Mohotsav, a total of 391 Ladakh Residence Certificates (LRCs) besides other certificates were issued in Kargil district today.
As per the progress report of the Good Governance Week issued by Revenue Department, in Kargil district, a total of 391 Ladakh Residence Certificates (LRCs), 66 ST certificates, 100 income certificates, 27 RBA certificates and 04 property certificates were issued.
All the certificates were issued in seven tehsils by the concerned Tehsildars that include Kargil, Shargole, Sankoo, Drass, Zanskar, Chiktan and Taisuru.
As part of the Good Governance Week, SDMs, Tehsildars of Kargil district are organizing special events in their respective headquarters/panchayats to resolve public grievances and on spot delivery of public services.
LRCs, ST certificates, income certificates, married/unmarried certificates, mutations, abstract copies of Jamabandi, Girdari and mutations of part-e Patwar, Chulla-Firist, electoral roll copy, relief assessment and disposal of revenue cases are covered as part of celebrations of Good Governance Week which started on 20 December and will conclude on 26 December.
