National Voters’ Day celebrated in Nyoma

Leh, Jan 25: The 12th National Voters’ Day 2022 was celebrated at Sub-Division, Nyoma.

The theme for National Voters’ Day 2022 is ‘Making Election Inclusive, Accessible & Participative’. The theme underscores the primary objective for the observance of National Voters’ Day, which is to urge adults to participate in the democratic process of choosing their elected representatives.

A Pledge-taking ceremony was also held on the occasion. AERO, Nyoma Jigmet Angchuk distributed the election card to the upcoming voters/ newly registered voters on the occasion
