GDC Kargil organizes vaccination drive

KARGIL, JULY 25, 2022: Department of History, Unnat Bharat Abhiyaan (UBA) and Department of Psychology GDC Kargil today organized a vaccination drive (booster shot) at the college campus.
The program started with welcome address by Gulzar Hussain, Principal Investigator Unnat Bharat Abhiyan and HoD Department of History.
District Immunization Officer, Dr Mohammad Jalil spoke on the importance of the vaccination drive. He emphasized on preventive measures against the spread of Covid-19 like social distancing, wearing of masks and vaccination.
A team of paramedical and nursing staff from district hospital Kargil started the vaccination process wherein students and faculty members actively received booster shots.
In charge principal, GDC Kargil and the head department of English also graced the program with their presence.
More than 50 students and staff members were vaccinated. The program was coordinated by the Head Department of Psychology, Dr Syed Ali Shah.
