EC Mohsin visits Shakar Chiktan to assess situation caused due to flood

KARGIL, JULY 27, 2022: Executive Councilor, Health, Agriculture and Revenue LAHDC, Kargil Mohsin Ali today visited Shakar Chiktan subdivision to access the situation caused due to recent flash flood.
The EC was accompanied by Sub Divisional Magistrate, Tehsildar, AEE R&B, AEE PMGSY, JE PHE, JE Irrigation and BDO Shakar Chiktan.
EC Mohsin inspected the road clearance work by BRO at Shakar Rong, PMGSY at Youkma Kharboo, Lamsoo, Sandoo, Sapi Shakar and Samrah Lungma and directed the concerned agencies to immediately restore essential services and road connectivity in flash flood-hit areas on war footing basis.
The EC assured residents of the area and affected families that the LAHDC Kargil is with them in these hard times and fully committed to provide them all support.
Also a team of officers with the concerned department will visit the affected areas for assessment of the loss of property etc.
