Exposure tour for Zanskar farmers to Himachal Pradesh begins

Kargil, September 14, 2022:
One the directions of Chief Agriculture Officer Kargil, Sub Divisional Agriculture Officer Zanskar Tsering Nurboo today lead a team of farmers of Zanskar on an exposure tour to Himachal Pradesh for seven days.
The team comprised 30 farmers, officials and staff of Agriculture Department Zanskar.
The exposure tour was flagged off by Block Development Officer Zanskar, Tsewang Rigzin today morning from Agriculture Office Complex Zanskar. The team will visit various Agriculture related institutions in Himachal Pradesh.
The farmers appreciated the UT Administration, Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council Kargil and Agriculture Department for organizing the exposure tour of farmers outside UT and hope for better exposure and learn new techniques of cash crop farming.
