CEC Feroz Khan congratulates award winners A number of prestigious awards have been conferred on the eve of Republic Day 2023

Kargil, Jan 25, 2023: Chairman/CEC, LAHDC, Kargil Feroz Ahmed Khan today in his message extended congratulations to all the distinguished persons whose services have been commended in the form of various awards like the Padma Shri 2023, President’s Police Medal for Meritorious Services, UT Ladakh 3rd State Awards 2023 and the Head of Police, UT Ladakh Commendation Medal & Certificate.
The CEC said that the conferment of these prestigious awards will not only acknowledge the exemplary efforts of the awardees in their respective fields but will also encourage others to do their best in their respective domains. He said that these awardees will be role models for all concerned in their respective fields.
Khan wished all the best to the award winners for their future endeavours.
Pertinently, on the eve of Republic Day 2023, Kushok Thiksey Nawang and Chamba Stanzin were conferred with the Padma Shri Awards by the President of India while SSP (AIG of Police) Stanzin Nurboo and Inspector Ghulam Ali were awarded the President’s Police Medal for Meritorious Services.
At the State level, noted author Kacho Asfandyar Khan (Category: Literature), Dr. Zakir Hussain, Block Veterinary Officer, Kargil, Sheep Husbandry Department with Additional Charge of Deputy Registrar Cooperative Kargil (Category: Public Service – Gazetted) among others were conferred with the 3rd UT Ladakh State Awards. Superintendent of Police, Kargil, Anayat A. Chowdhary, IPS, among other police officers and personnel were conferred with the Head of Police, UT Ladakh Commendation Medal & Certificate.
