CEC Feroz Khan takes stock of snow clearance works at Kargil Airport

Kargil, Feb 14, 2023: Chairman/Chief Executive Councilor (CEC), LAHDC, Kargil Feroz Khan today took stock of snow clearance works at Kargil Airport.
He was accompanied by ADC Kargil, Ghulam Mohi-Ud-In Wani and officers of the Indian Airforce and Mechanical Engineering Division Kargil.
CEC Khan was informed by IAF officials that following the recent heavy snowfall coupled and extreme cold in the morning hours, it is becoming a hurdle in the smooth operation of the AN-32 Kargil Courier Service.
He was further informed that snow clearance works are going in full swing and three machines and 25 labourers are on the job to clear the runway on top priority.
CEC Khan instructed all the concerned to expedite the work so that the flights of the AN-32 Courier Services would be resumed at the earliest.
