ABDM Ladakh organizes workshop on ABDM, e-hospital in Kargil In Ladakh 2,99,235 unique health IDs (ABHA) created till date, overall 1,04,171 health records of patients linked with these IDs: Officials

Kargil, Feb 15, 2023: The Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), Ladakh today organized a one-day workshop in Kargil as part of its capacity building on e-hospital and ABDM for different stakeholders.
Chief Medical Officer, Kargil, Dr Munnawar Hussain Wazir was the chief guest on this occasion. More than 50 participants including doctors, para-medical staff, Nodal Officers of e-hospital from PHCs and others from medical fraternity of Kargil took part in the event.
Medical Superintendent, District Hospital Kargil, Dr Liyaqat Ali Khan, Director (Coordination), ABDM, Dr Phunchok Nurboo, Project Manager ABDM, Tashi Angmo, Project Coordinator ABDM, Stanzin Angmo, Data Analyst ABDM, Namgial Dorjay, Grievance Redressal Executive, Aarif Hussain and HMIS Manager Kargil, Thinley Gyalson were also present.
On the occasion, the CMO Kargil said in Ladakh, the ABDM will play a great role in securing the records of patients and will further help in treatment all over India.
He further said that after the formation of Union Territory of Ladakh, the health sector has witnessed a tremendous change and this scheme will add to the change.
Dr Phunchok Nurboo in his presentation elaborated the basics of the scheme. Pertinently, 2,99,235 unique health IDs (ABHA) have been created for UT Ladakh till date and overall 1,04,171 health records of patients and citizens are already linked with these ABHA IDs.
