 Sustainable Campus Challenge

1. Eligibility: The contest is open to students of University of Ladakh, constituent Colleges, Polytechnic Colleges, CIBS and ITIs.
2. Teams: Participants can submit their entries either as individuals or as a team (up to 4 members per team).
3. Theme: The proposal should focus on promoting sustainability on the campus. This can include areas such as energy and water conservation, waste reduction and recycling, sustainable transportation, green buildings, and sustainable food systems.
4. Originality: The proposal should be original and not previously published or submitted for any other contests or competitions.
5. Feasibility: The proposal should be feasible and practical to implement on the campus. Participants should consider the availability of resources and the potential challenges that may arise during the implementation.
6. Impact: The proposal should have a significant impact on promoting sustainability on the campus. Participants should consider the potential benefits to the environment, the campus community, and future generations.
7. Budget: The proposal should include estimated costs for implementing the proposed solution with breakup for the proposed components/activities. Participants should consider the funding sources that are available on the campus.
8. Submission: All proposals should be mailed to ladakhcampuschallenges@gmail.com in the given template by 12th April. Late submissions will not be accepted.
9. Evaluation: All entries will be judged based on the criteria outlined in the contest guidelines.
10. Prizes: Cash Prize of Rs 15,000 (1st), Rs 10,000 (2nd) and Rs 5000 (3rd), to be handed during Y20 Pre-Summit Inaugural Session on 26th April 2023
11. Implementation: The winners will have the opportunity to implement their proposals on the campus with the support of the College Administration and other relevant departments.
