Education Dept. conducts orientation program on NILP.

Kargil, April 29, 2023: Education Department Kargil today conducted one day orientation training on New India Literacy Program (NILP) Phase 2nd for volunteer teachers of Sankoo Zone at ASHRM Higher Secondary School, Sankoo.
The training program was attended by 190 volunteers.
Zonal Education Planning Officer Sankoo, District Coordinator NILP, Assistant Coordinator NILP, Zonal Coordinator, Nodal Officer Sankoo Zone and resource person Issa Sabri attended the training.
The program was aimed to achieve 100 percent literacy by the end of June 2023 and impart foundational literacy, numeracy and to cover other components like skills, financial and digital literacy necessary for a citizen of the 21st century.
