Government Degree College Khaltse organised a meeting with public representatives of Sham region for Admission Drive.
The meeting was attended by Chairman, Panchayat Nambardar Coordination Committee Sham region, Tsering Norbu; President Goba Association Sham region, Tsewang Stobdan, Sarpanch Halqa panchayat Tia, Phuntsog Angchok; Sarpanch Khaltse, Nawang Rigzin and Konchok Norboo Ex-commandant from Neyraks.
Principal GDC Khaltse, Professor Stanzin Yangdol gave a brief introduction of the college and facilities available in the college. She added that the enrollment in GDC Khaltse can be increased through special admission drives and mass mobilization in the catchment areas of Sham region. In this regard, the public representatives can play a significant role to sensitize people at mass level for drawing admissions at doorstep.
As the new admission process has already been announced by the University of Ladakh, the members assured to cooperate with the college administration for initiating admission drives in their respective areas. Sarpanch Khaltse, Nawang Rigzin also assured to extend their best possible cooperation for ensuring maximum admissions of local students in the college.
