ADC Kargil inspects developmental works in Sub Division Zanskar.

Kargil, July 06, 2023: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Kargil, Ghulam Mohi-ud-In Wani on Wednesday inspected the renovation work of Old Masjid and Astana.
During the visit, ADC Kargil directed the Exen ZDA to redress the remaining minor issues of the Old Masjid and Astana at old Padum.
ADC Kargil visited the construction site of Photang Soma at Karsha Monastery and interacted with the construction committee of Photang Soma and they requested to sanctioned additional funds for side cutting of the soil at the construction site.
He directed AEE PHE to explore possibilities to cover Photang Soma under JJM and irrigation. Regarding cutting, the ADC assured to take up the issue with higher authorities.
He also inspected Jal Jeevan Mission water supply at village Tsazar and interacted with locals of the village regarding JJM water supply. The locals expressed their satisfaction over the works being done under the JJM.
The ADC also inspected the flash flood-affected area at Zangla and directed the Mechanical Department to deploy JCB to restore the flood-affected road and culvert.
In the evening, he also visited Govt. Model Degree College, Zanskar where the principal, MNM Shabani briefed about the construction sites and infrastructures.
The ADC appreciated the work done by the principal in his tenure and directed the concerned authority to complete the construction works of the college on the stipulated time. He also instructed Exen to redress the minor issues related to construction sites.
