Special Cell for Women conducts seventh outreach-cum-awareness programs HS Icher Lugnek.

Kargil, July 08, 2023: Special Cell for Women in collaboration with Women Police Station Kargil (Ladakh Police) today conducted the seventh outreach-cum-awareness program at High School Icher Lugnek, Zanskar.
SHO Women Police Station, Diskit Ladol, Principal GHS Icher Lugnak, Stanzin, teachers, Women Help Desk Zanskar and Social Worker Special Cell, Hassina Batool were present in the program.
The SHO Women’s Police Station conducted an interactive session with students of Govt. High School Icher on gender inequality.
The Social Worker gave awareness about the service of the Special Cell for Women and made them aware of gender sensitization.
A short film was also screened on safe and unsafe touch. Besides that the participants were also informed about the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012.
