Leh, July 21: Advisor, UT Ladakh/CEO, Ladakh Land Records Modernization Agency (LLaRMA) Dr. Pawan Kotwal chaired a meeting to review the progress of Digital India Land Records Modernization Program (DILRMP) project & SVAMITVA Scheme in Ladakh.
Threadbare of discussion were held on finalization of SOP/Guideline for conducting of CORS Network-based Survey/resurvey. Finalization of RFP for procurement of 12-modules-based software; status of modern record rooms and status of setting up of State Data Centre; progress of digitization work as per timeline of the work order; the progress of SVAMITVA Scheme in UT Ladakh; status of the readiness of Drone survey including distribution of Property card under SVAMITVA; status of the validation/testing of CORs Network for carrying out Survey/Resurvey work.
Dr.Kotwal stated that the objective of DILRMP is to develop a modern, comprehensive and transparent land record management system with the aim to develop an Integrated Land Information Management System which will improve real-time information on land; optimize use of land resources; benefit both landowners and prospectors; assist in policy & planning ; reduce land disputes; check fraudulent/ benami transactions; obviate need of physical visits to Revenue/registration offices, enable sharinf of information with various organisations/ agencies etc.
For speedy completion of computerization of revenue records, Dr. Kotwal directed for t. Advisor directed the officers to finalize the RFP for necessary software procurement and asked them to submit a funding proposal for the same. He directed The concerned officers and the vendor for early starting and completion of CORS based land parcel survey as the SOP for the survey was finalised.
