    Hon’ble Lt Governor Brig (Dr) BD Mishra (Retd) chairs meeting to discuss languishing project works in Ladakh Issues direction to complete projects within three years & then move to new projects.

    Leh, July 22, 2023: The Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Brigadier (Dr) BD Mishra (Retd) held a meeting with the Chairman/CEC of both Hill Councils, Member of Parliament from Ladakh and concerned Departmental Secretaries/HODs at Raj Niwas to discuss languishing projects in Ladakh.
    There was a detailed discussion on issuing instructions that the detailed project report (DPR) of project work must include all the project components and the overall cost of the project from the beginning till the end along with ensuring that there is no change in the Administrative Approval (AA) after the project is sanctioned for the early completion of the project works.
    At the outset, the HLG stressed the importance of completing project works maximum within a period of three years for the ease and convenience of the public. He stated that the languishing projects should be given priority and completed before moving on to the next project works to ensure that none of the project works remain incomplete.
