Members of Anjuman Imamia, Smt Spaldon call on Hon’ble Lt Goveror Brig (Dr) BD Mishra (Retd).

Leh, July 24, 2023: A delegation from Anjuman Imamia led by its President, Shri Ashraf Ali Barcha, called on the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Brigadier (Dr) BD Mishra (Retd), at Raj Niwas.
Shri Ashraf apprised HLG of the blood donation camp being organised by them on the occasion of Ashoora for the past two decades under their registered organisation, Alamdar Health Centre. He informed that this year they arranged 65 pints of blood for the needy. He also informed about their plan to conduct a blood donation camp on the occasion of this year’s Ashoora on a bigger scale and requested HLG to grace the occasion.
HLG appreciated their noble work and assured them of all possible assistance.
Smt Tsering Spaldon called on the HLG at Raj Niwas.
Smt Spaldon, who passed out from Miranda House in Delhi, informed HLG about the invitation received by her to take part in the 12th edition of the Aia Youth International Model United Nations to be held in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia from 12th to 15th August, 2023 as a delegate. She requested for assistance to take part in the event as the accommodation and flight ticket expenses have to be borne by her.
HLG asked Smt Spaldon to meet the Commissioner Secretary, Higher Education in this regard.
