13th Bn NDRF conducts community awareness-cum-training program in Kargil.

Kargil, August 06, 2023: A community awareness-cum-training program for all local villagers, PRIs, community volunteers women and others was conducted today at Panchayat Ghar Hardas Kargil in which 13th Bn NDRF, Ludhiana imparted training on basic Disaster Management to the villagers.
The 13th Bn NDRF, Ludhiana conducted the program in collaboration with District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Kargil.
The training was imparted to villagers by master trainer Devinder Singh and his team regarding first aid, bandaging, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), etc.
On the occasion, the officers of 13th Bn NDRF besides community volunteers and PRIs and other locals also attended the program.
The villagers lauded the efforts of the DDMA Kargil for organizing the program. They also thanked the 13th Bn NDRF Ludhiana for imparting training to villagers for enhancing the capacity of local community in the future.
