DC Kargil reviews Jal Jeevan Mission progress.

Kargil, August 12, 2023: Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC, Kargil, Shrikant Suse today chaired a meeting of officers to review the progress of Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) in the district.
Superintending Engineer, PHE, I&FC Kargil, Maqbool Hussain, Chief Planning Officer Kargil, Abdul Hadi, Exen PHE Kargil, Exen PHE Zanskar, AEEs, AEs, JEs, IEC Coordinator, ISA Team and other concerned officials/officers of the district attended the meeting.
During the meeting, DC Kargil took village wise review of progress of providing Functional Household Tap Connections (FHTCs) under the JJM in the district.
Detailed discussions were held on village wise status of bottlenecks, pace of works, reasons for slow progress in some blocks and remedial actions. DC Shrikant directed for completion of pending works at earliest with at most focus on quality.
