DC Kargil chairs DCC, DLRC meeting, stresses on collaborative efforts by banks and line departments.

Kargil, August 18, 2023: Election Authority/Deputy Commissioner/CEO LAHDC, Kargil, Shrikant Suse today chaired the meeting of District Level Review Committee/ District Consultative Committee (DLRC/DCC) for the quarter ended March 2023 at Conference Hall, Baroo.
The meeting was attended by Lead District Manager, Muzaffer Hussain, Chief Agriculture Officer, Kacho Mohd and representatives/ officials of different banks and line departments of Kargil District.
At the outset, the Deputy Commissioner assessed the sector wise performance of the Banks in implementation of different Government initiatives and reviewed the achievements of Banks in lending to Priority/Non Priority sectors under Annual Credit Plan.
DC Kargil instructed all banks to clear the pendencies of various government-sponsored schemes by reconciliation with the line department and thereby increase the transparency for sanctioning and disbursement of various loans.
He also reviewed achievements of the annual credit plan of the district.
He also reviewed the status and performance of State Bank of India, Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) Kargil.
The meeting reviewed the performances of banks in implementing government schemes and loans up to the quarter ended March 2023 within Kargil.
The meeting discussed various issues related to credit linkage under various government schemes while better achievement and solutions for existing problems were also discussed.
