GMDC Zanskar holds orientation-cum-registration session for 5th Semester students.

Kargil, August 31, 2023: Government Degree College Zanskar on Wednesday conducted a workshop/orientation-cum-registration session for 5th Semester students in new course “Employability Skill” offered by Wadhwani Foundation in collaboration with Higher Education Department, UT Ladakh.
The session was aimed to abreast students regarding the importance of the course and to empower them with core and future job-ready skills to attain a sustainable job in their career and register them in a new batch starting from 01/09/2023.
The orientation started with a brief introduction of the course followed by a welcome address by Dr Abid Hussain. Ahsan Ali and Shagufta faculty members of GMDC Zanskar were mediators of the newly introduced Course.
Earlier both the mediators had attended orientation/workshop for the course at Leh conducted by the Higher Education Department, Ladakh.
Ahsan Ali, AP Botany presented a powerpoint presentation and Shagufta AP insisted students to get on spot online registration during the session. More than 25 students of the 5th Semester got registered for the Skill Course. The first batch of this course shall commence from September 01, 2023, and will continue till November 29, 2023.
