Sensitization program held at Hardass, Chanigound villages.

Kargil, Sep 11, 2023: Women Police Station along with social workers from Special Cell for Women Kargil today organized a sensitization program at Hardass and Chanigound villages.
In the program, SHO Women Police Station Kargil gave a brief introduction about the functioning of women police station at Petrol Pump TV Station Kargil. She also threw light on some important and sensitive topics like domestic violence, stalking, black mailing and many other forms of violence against women.
Social workers from Special Cell for Women also elaborated the challenges faced by women in day to day life, and also gave awarenes to the participants about legal rights of women in the Indian Constitution, child marriage and property rights of daughters.
In the end, the SHO Women Police Station requested women participants to make the police station accessible.
