𝐋𝐞𝐡,𝐎𝐜𝐭.𝟐𝟓,𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑:As a part of Tobacco control effort in Leh town and to ensure COTPA 2003 compliance, an enforcenent drive was carried out by the Enforcement squad in Leh city today on October 25.
A sum amounting to Rs.12,800/- was collected as fine from violators of section 6b and section 4 of COTPA.
It is also being notified to shopkeepers that selling tobacco products within 100 yards of educational institutions is a punishable offense under section 6 of COTPA.
