CEC Kargil meets with MD/CEO of J&K Bank to discuss operational concerns.

Kargil, Nov 09, 2023: Chairman/CEC, LAHDC, Kargil, Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon on his visit to Srinagar called on MD/CEO, J&K Bank, Baldev Prakash and held a detailed meeting on various issues about the operation of the bank in Kargil.
During the meeting, detailed deliberation and discussions were held on various issues.
The CEC asserted that from many years the presence of Kargil in the job positions of the bank has been reduced and for that possible training programs for the banking exams need to be conducted by the bank for the aspirants of Kargil.
The CEC also expected that the Bank would continue its participation in the socio-economic development of Kargil by generously providing CSR funds.
CEC Dr Jaffer also shared that installation of ATMs should be ensured at the required localities for the ease of masses, besides provision for a Mobile Bank vehicle must be explored to ease banking facilities in rural areas.
Concerned officers and various heads of J&K Bank were also present during the meeting.
