Leh Sub Area organises Veterans Outreach Programme to enhance welfare initiatives.

Leh, Nov 18, 2023: The Leh Sub Area conducted a Veterans Outreach Programme on November 17. The event saw active participation from Block Presidents of 14 Ex-servicemen Associations of Ladakh, creating a platform for discussions and updates on the latest initiatives for the welfare of veterans.
Distinguished attendees included the General Officer Commanding (GOC) Leh Sub Area, the Director of Rajya Sainik Board, and the President of the Ex-Servicemen League of Ladakh. The collective aim was to address the needs of the veterans and enhance their well-being through informative sessions and interactions.
The Indian Army took the opportunity to brief the veterans on the latest policies and initiatives implemented for their welfare. The GOC Leh Sub Area engaged in detailed interactions with the ex-servicemen, fostering a sense of community and understanding of their unique challenges and requirements.
Five exemplary ex-servicemen who have made notable contributions towards the welfare of their comrades in Ladakh were felicitated.
