District level Role Play competition was held.

Leh, Nov 25, 2023: District level Role Play competition was held on November 25 at DIET Leh amongst the Class Students of Higher Secondary Schools of Leh District under the National Population Scheme of NCERT.
The theme of the competition were Growing up healthy, Nutritious Food and Well-being, Personal Safety (physical, Mental, Emotional and Sexual), Safe Use of Internet, Gadgets and Media Literacy, Substance Abuse and its Causes and Prevention.
The judges for the competition were Padma Shri Awardee Morup Namgail, Culture Officer, Lundup Dorjai, Artist (Theatre) Chetan Angchuk.
Higher Secondary School Skurbuchan secured first position, while Higher Secondary School Tangtse secured second position and Higher Secondary School Baima secured third position.
At the end of program, Padma Shri Morup Namgail shared his valuable views related to the rich culture of Ladakh and stressed the importance of preservation of culture and tradition through Role Play.
Cultural Officer, Lundup Dorjey expressed that social values can preserve through Role Play.
Chetan Angchuk, stressed that Role Play is best medium for the preservation of moral values and remove social stigmas.
Principal DIET Leh Chetan Dorjey assured to continuity of such programs in future.
