CEC LAHDC Kargil Dr Jaffer calls on Union Minister Nitin Gadkari.

Kargil, Dec 06: Chairman/Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC, Kargil, Dr Mohd Jaffer Akhoon today called on Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, GoI, Nitin Gadkari and discussed various issues about infrastructural development in Kargil.
CEC Dr Jaffer submitted a memorandum to the Union Minister. During the meeting, the CEC Kargil thanked the Union Minister on behalf of people of Kargil for taking the Zojila Tunnel project and expected early completion of the project.
During the meeting, the CEC also discussed the need for e Ropeway Project in Kargil Town and requested for early sanctioning of roads and bridges under CRIF, submitted in the Ministry and opening of Panikhar-Pahalgam road
CEC Dr Jaffer also briefed the Union Minster about various development projects undergoing in the district and expected that the Union Government will start more road and infrastructure works in the district in the future.
