Leh, Dec 30, 2023: Deputy Commissioner, Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve chaired a meeting of the District Registering Authority under UT Ladakh Clinical Establishment Act to discuss the matter regarding registration and renewal of expired License of different Clinical Establishment in Leh District.
During the session, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Diskit Dolma provided a comprehensive update on the status of the Clinical Establishment Act and the renewal process for existing establishments. The meeting extensively covered topics such as fees, prescriptions, diagnostics centers, and licenses for medical centers, both outpatient and inpatient, falling under the Clinical Establishment Act.
DC Leh Santosh issued directives to officers for the initiation of new registration applications for clinical establishments. Furthermore, the Health Department was promptly notified about the prescribed fees at the UT level.
The meeting saw the presence of key officials, including the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Senior Superintendent of Police Leh, and Medical Superintendent SNM Hospital Leh, reflecting a collaborative effort to streamline and regulate healthcare services in the region.
