    Every Infant Matters conducts training session for healthcare workers.
    Kargil, June 24, 2024: NGO ‘Every Infant Matters’ in Sarita Vihar, New Delhi funded by Great Eastern shipping CSR foundation today conducted a training session for doctors and other health workers at Auditorium Hall, Kargil.
    Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Kacho Liyaqat Khan; Deputy Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Fatima Banoo; Medical Officers, and paramedical staff attended the training session.
    Dr. Versha Koul, Senior Consultant, Cardiology and Dr. Sofiya Yousuf, Cardiologist from Batra Heart Center at Batra Hospital Medical Research Centre (BHMRC) presented on the most prevalent chronic diseases in society.
    They provided detailed data analysis and highlighted the causes and consequences of diseases such as diabetes, hypertension and heart strokes.
    They also emphasized the most vulnerable sections of society and the preventive measures to combat these life-threatening diseases. Both experts stressed the importance of raising awareness about heart health and the significance of regular exercise in daily life.
    They also covered essential measures like CPR for heart patients in emergencies. The medical and paramedical teams raised queries and concerns, which were addressed through positive interactions with the experts.
    Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Kacho Liyaqat Khan welcomed this crucial training session and expressed gratitude to the experts from ‘Every Infant Matters’ and their founding members Dr. Radhika Batra and Dr. Shelly Batra.
    He shared his experiences in the medical field and suggested additional training sessions specifically targeted at medical staff. He urged medical personnel to disseminate this important information among their peers and community members to potentially save lives of heart patients.
