Outsourced employees call on CEC Kargil.
Kargil, June 28, 2024: A group of outsourced employees including Junior Engineers (JEs), pharmacists, nurses, drivers and sweepers today called on Chairman/CEC, LAHDC, Kargil, Dr Mohd Jaffer Akhoon at Council Secretariat, Kargil.
The employees requested the CEC for an extension of their contracts, emphasising the need for continuing their positions.
The Junior Engineers specifically requested that their contracts be extended until the next financial year to ensure ongoing project stability and seamless service delivery.
In response, the CEC assured the employees that their concerns would be addressed. He assured to explore possible solutions and pledged to write to higher authorities for the extension of their contract.
