Leh, Aug 10: The Hon’ble Chairman/ CEC, LAHDC, Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson today chaired a review meeting today in the Conference Hall of Council Secretariat Leh. The meeting aimed to assess the status and progress of various developmental works in the Leh district.
Hon’ble Deputy Chairman, Tsering Angchuk, Executive Councillor, RDD, Tashi Namgyal Yakzee and Executive Councillor, Minority, Ghulam Mehdi were also present in the meeting.
During the meeting, CEC Gyalson evaluated the progress of various ongoing projects and instructed the concerned officers to strictly adhere to the project vision, ensuring timely completion without any delays.
H’CEC emphasised several priority projects, including the beautification of the Igoo Phey area, construction of the new Council Secretariat building and construction of a Club House at Melongthang.The chair highlighted the importance of inter departmental coordination to ensure the smooth completion of major ongoing infrastructural and developmental works.
CEC further directed the officers to propose significant works for inauguration, and to identify priority works for the next review meeting. He also directed the concerned officers to coordinate with the respective Executive Councillors to ensure effective execution of various developmental works.
