GDC Kargil launched an intensified IEC Campaign for HIV/AIDS Awareness in collaboration with J&K Aids Control Society and HED Ladakh during the two-day event—International Youth Day.

Kargil, August 13, 2024: GDC Kargil launched an intensified IEC Campaign for HIV/AIDS Awareness in collaboration with J&K Aids Control Society and Higher Education Department Ladakh during the two-day event—International Youth Day—on August 12 and 13.
The College Red Ribbon Committee had arranged different events during the two-day program which included Volleyball competition, Poster Design competition on the first day and Students’ Open Debate/Discussion Session on HIV/AIDS and Expert Panel Session on the concluding day.
Prof. MNM Shabani, Convener IQAC, was the chief guest on the concluding day. Prof. Mohammad Nasir ul Mehdi Shabani and Dr. Akbar Khan (HOD Zoology) took part in a panel discussion session on HIV/AIDS awareness.
Certificates were distributed among the participant students of different events by the hands of the chief guest on this occasion.
A large number of students and faculty members attended the program. Prof. Syed Ali Mousavi coordinated the event and Prof. Haider Ali Askary (HOD Sociology) and member Red Ribbon Club moderated the proceedings on the concluding day.
