Full dress rehearsal for 78th Independence Day 2024 successfully conducted in Khaltse.
August 13, 2024: In a display of great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor, Full Dress rehearsal for the upcoming 78th Independence day 2024 took place today at the New Stadium of the Sub-Division Khaltse.
The event, akin to similar preparations happening across the nation, witnessed Naib Tehsildar Khaltse, Mohd Yousuf, hoisting the National Flag at 11:00 AM to the tune of the National Anthem. The Ladakh Police Khaltse presented the Guard of Honour, and the parade was meticulously inspected by the Naib Tehsildar, Khaltse Mohd Yousuf who also took the salute during the march past.
The Parade Commander for the event was Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Mohd Hussain, while the stirring renditions of the National Anthem and the band performance were delivered by the students of Government Higher Secondary School Khaltse.
A total of 8 parade contingents participated in the march past, showcasing their discipline and coordination. These contingents included Moravian Mission School Khaltse, Lamdon Jamyang School Khaltse, Government Higher Secondary School Khaltse (Boys and Girls), Government Higher Secondary School Skurbuchan, Government High School Wanla, Government High School Lamayuru and Government Middle School Skurbuchan. ASI Mohd Hussain expertly commanded the parade proceedings.
The event was graced by the presence of Second SHO Khaltse, Sonam Angdus as well as officers and officials from various department of the Sub-Division Khaltse.
