2024 Hockey Together Camp Concludes in Gangneung City, players from Ladakh extend gratitude to CEC.
Leh, August 28, 2024: The 2024 Hockey Together Camp, hosted by the Korean Ice Hockey Association (KIHA) with the support of the Official Development Assistance (ODA) program of the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Pyeongchang Legacy Foundation, has concluded its 6th edition with resounding success. The camp, which took place from August 8 to 15, has solidified its position as a key initiative in the development of global ice hockey.
This year’s camp saw an impressive participation of 90 Korean U15 players, 38 Learn to Play (LTP) participants, and 37 coaches representing 22 IIHF Member National Associations (MNAs). The event was notable for its mix of returning participants from nations including Ukraine, Serbia, Malaysia, and India, alongside newcomers from the UAE, Kuwait, Philippines, Hong Kong, and Chinese Taipei.
Special recognition goes to Diskit C Angmo and Tsewang Chuskit from Ladakh representing team India who extended their heartfelt gratitude to the CEC Tashi Gyalson for his generous funding, which greatly contributed to their participation in this transformative experience.
The Hockey Together Camp continues to set a high standard for international hockey education and collaboration, fostering growth and unity within the sport.
