Director RD&PRD, Ladakh, Syed Sajjad Qadri conducted extensive tour of Drass.
Kargil, Sept 10, 2024: Director Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department (RD&PRD), Ladakh, Syed Sajjad Qadri today conducted an extensive tour of the Drass Sub Division.
The director visited various works being carried out under SDP/SSP/Grant-in-Aid/CSS/CS of CD Block Drass and Bhimbat.
During the visit, he reviewed the physical progress of projects such as the construction of Public Libraries, Community Halls, compound walling of various CFCs & Panchayat Ghars, Solid Waste Management Units, and link roads under SDP, SSP and GIA.
He instructed the Concerned BDO, AE & JEs and all the staff members to speed up the physical progress of these works owing to the limited working session in Drass and to ensure effective implementation of projects to maximize their utility.
The director instructed the engineering staff to maintain quality of projects/works and given on spot instructions at multiple sites for rectification & changes that were technically required.
Assistant Commissioner Development Kargil; Exen REW Kargil; BDO; AE REW Kargil; SA(Plg) Directorate of RDD, and other relevant field staff accompanied the director during his site visit.
