GDC Kargil organizes cleanliness drive as part of Swachhata Hi Seva campaign.
Kargil, October 01, 2024: Government Degree College (GDC) Kargil today organized a cleanliness drive as part of the “Swachhata Hi Seva” campaign within the college premises.
The event was organized by the College Discipline Committee and NSS unit and saw active participation from all teaching staff, non-teaching staff, and students of the college.
At the beginning of the cleanliness drive the college discipline committee and NSS unit distributed masks and soaps to the staff and students of the college.
As part of the drive, every department took the responsibility of cleaning their offices, laboratories, classrooms, and surrounding areas.
In addition to this, all staff members and students took a pledge in English and local language to uphold the values of the “Swachhata Hi Seva” campaign.
The event concluded with an address by Prof. Disket Angmo, Principal GDC Kargil, who emphasized the importance of cleanliness and objectives of the Swachhata Hi Seva campaign. The Principal also highlighted the responsibility of everyone to contribute towards the clean environment.
