District Social and Tribal Welfare Officer Kargil organizes training program on Vigilance Awareness Week at Bal-Asharam, Baroo.
Kargil, November 02, 2024: The Administration of Union Territory of Ladakh through the Office of District Social and Tribal Welfare Officer Kargil, organized a training program for employees on “Vigilance Awareness Week” at Bal-Asharam, Baroo, Kargil.
Agah Syed Jamal, Child Development Project Officer Sankoo and Mohd Hussain emphasized the importance of fostering ethics and transparency in governance and public administration. Jamal highlighted that the Commission strives to promote integrity and combat corruption with the active support and involvement of all citizens.
He said for the past three years, preventive vigilance initiatives have been a central focus of this campaign. He further emphasized that each employee must understand the conduct and service rules to uphold the department’s culture of integrity and accountability.
Mohd Hussain, Accounts Officer for Social and Tribal Welfare, also spoke about the role of personal behavior and awareness in fulfilling employees’ responsibilities, particularly towards the underprivileged and marginalized communities.
He urged each employee, especially those in the Social and Tribal Welfare Department, to become well-versed in departmental manuals and Central or State Social Schemes to ensure that these benefits reach eligible recipients. He also encouraged expanding the outreach of these schemes through awareness programs.
The training program was attended by TSWO Khair un Nissa, Superintendent of Bal Ashram Sudiqa Banoo, Superintendent of Observation Home Roqiya Banoo, Social Worker Grade 1 Arif Hussain, and other officials.
