New Districts Committee, Ladakh engages with delegations during visit from Kargil to Leh.
Kargil, Nov 05, 2024: The New Districts Committee, Ladakh, concluded its three-day visit to Kargil by meeting with various delegations en route to Leh.
The local public and village elders met the committee at Mulbekh and Bodh Kharboo, where local public representatives shared their perspectives and preferences regarding the formation of new districts in the region.
The committee included Chairman Shri Pramod Kumar Jain, Shri Kacho Asfandyar Khan, Shri Tsering Angchok, and accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner Kargil, Shri Mohi-ud-Din Wani.
Representatives from the meeting included Councillor Khangral, Padma Dorjay, a former Nominated Councillor, and members of the Coordination Committee of Shargole Constituency, who presented their demands both verbally and in writing regarding the establishment of new districts.
The committee members listened attentively and assured the delegations that their concerns and suggestions would be carefully considered.
