Special Summary Revision of Photo Electoral Rolls Leh

Deputy District Electoral Officer, Leh chairs meeting on Special Summary Revision of Photo Electoral Rolls Leh, November 14, 2024: The Deputy District Electoral Officer, Leh AG Zargar (JKAS) chaired a review meeting in connection with Special Summary Revision of Photo Electoral Rolls w.r.t 01-01-2025 as the qualifying date with all concerned Assistant Electoral Registration Officer (AEROs) /Tehsildars on November 14. During the meeting the chair reviewed the status of forms 6, 6A, 7 & 8 received till date and ensure all AEROs for timely process of the Forms received by BLOs in BLO App and also disposal of Forms at the level of AEROs on a daily basis. The Deputy District Electoral Officer, Leh directed all AEROs to inform all BLOs and BLO supervisors about their duties and ensure that all BLO must report to their designated polling stations on time, on 2nd Special Campaigns i.e. on 16th & 17th of November,2024. He also informed all Tehsildar that the Roll Observer for 1-Ladakh Parliamentary Constituency, Padma Angmo, shall visit the polling stations on Special Campaigns on 16th & 17th of November 2024. He instructed to ensure that all BLOs must remain present throughout the campaign. The Deputy District Electoral Officer, Leh directed all Tehsildar to visit polling stations in their jurisdictions on the day of campaigns and to submit detail report of claims and objections received in form 6,6A,7 & 8 along with high resolution photographs on next day of campaigns . The meeting was attended by all the Tehsildars/ AEROs and District SVEEP Nodal Officer Leh. Out stationed officers are had attend the meeting on VC
