DC Leh Santosh Sukhadeve convened meeting regarding Land for Civil Terminal at Nubra Leh

November 16, 2024: The Deputy Commissioner Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve, convened a meeting regarding transfer of land for construction of Civil Terminal at Thoise Airport Nubra on November 16, at Video Conference Room, DC Office Leh. During the meeting the Airport Authority informed about the additional requirement of 1.5 acre land from Airforce to Civil Airport at Thoise Nubra. The Deputy Commissioner Leh mentioned that a compensation in lieu of the land will be calculated and will be paid by Administration of UT Ladakh. It was discussed that approximately 18 lakh compensation will be paid to the Airforce. Officers from Airport Authority and Airforce agreed to the terms and was directed to share formal documents. The Deputy Commissioner Leh assured to process the file timely. The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Revenue Shabir Hussain and officers and officials from Airforce and Airport Authority.
